Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Fantasy Music ("FM," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use FM. By using the service you represent that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 should have parental or guardian consent.

2. The service

FM is a free-to-play fantasy sports game based on music streaming data. No real money is wagered and no prizes with cash value are awarded. There is no gambling element.

FM does not collect, facilitate, promote, administer, or guarantee payments or wagers arranged outside the service.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to provide notice for significant changes.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share your account or sign in on behalf of another person without their consent. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Stream data accuracy

Scores in FM are based on publicly available streaming data from third-party sources. We use the last reliable data and defer final scoring when necessary rather than inventing stream counts. Commissioners may correct a score when justified; every correction is recorded permanently in the league audit log.

6. Intellectual property

Artist names, images, and related content displayed in FM belong to their respective owners. FM does not claim ownership of artist content and uses it solely to power the game experience. The FM application code, design, and branding are owned by us.

If you believe content displayed through FM infringes your rights, email the address below with your contact information, identification of the work and disputed content, its location in FM, and the basis for your claim. We will investigate good-faith notices and remove or restrict content when appropriate.

You retain ownership of league names, team names, messages, and other content you submit. You give us a limited licence to store, display, and moderate that content only as needed to operate FM. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will always be accurate.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FM and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or any other intangible losses.

9. Third-party links and services

FM may display links to or content from third-party services (Spotify, Apple, Google, etc.). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those services. Their respective terms and policies apply.

10. Termination

You may stop using FM at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be noted with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
